Electric Cinema opens at Television Centre

Similar to its sister cinema in Portobello, White City will have 44 mohair armchairs, with cashmere blankets and footstalls, a bar serving drinks and pick ‘n’ mix to nibble on, and artwork inspired by the building’s cultural heritage lining the walls.
The screen offers 4K laser phosphur projection, Dolby Atmos sound and XpanD 3D, and can accommodate 4K alternative content. The screening programme will include hotly anticipated releases alongside Kids Club screenings and specially curated Sunday matinees. New films open every Friday and tickets go on sale 12pm on Friday two weeks before the first show.
