Serpentine Pavilions

Introducing world-renowned architects and artists through unique spaces in Hyde Park

For over 10 years, Stanhope has acted as an adviser to the Serpentine Gallery, helping realise unusual creations from the likes of Ai Weiwei, Daniel Libeskind (Jewish Museum, Berlin), and Oscar Niemeyer (Brasília, Brazil).
The Serpentine Galleries’ Pavilion has annually put the skill and imagination of some of the world’s best architects on public display. Each year an architect who has never before completed a building in the UK is invited to create a temporary pavilion that can be used as a café by day and a forum for learning, debate and entertainment at night.
The Serpentine Pavilions are completed in partnership with Serpentine Galleries and an ever-growing list of architects, which has included Herzog & de Meuron, Rem Koolhaas, Olafur Eliasson and Oscar Niemeyer.
