59 Gresham Street
Creating an adaptable city headquarters for JP Morgan
At 59 Gresham Street, Stanhope created a building that was capable of housing two trading floors, 535 trading positions, a staff restaurant, client dining, and board and conference facilities for JP Morgan’s London headquarters.
The building needed to be a highly resilient space to allow trading even in extreme circumstances. Integrating the delivery of shell and core with the fit-out of the building was cost-efficient and saved significant time.
This project was undertaken with Bovis Lend Lease as construction manager and Waterman Group as structural engineers.
