Stanhope announces move to 8 Bishopsgate

We are excited to announce our move to level 33 of 8 Bishopsgate, taking 8,300 sq. ft. at the landmark scheme we developed on behalf of Mitsubishi Estate London.
The news marks two thirds of the 50-storey building being let. With 400,000 sq. ft now let, only 70,000 sq. ft remains available. The move also cements the strong relationship between Stanhope and Mitsubishi Estate London.
8 Bishopsgate, with its sustainable design and central location, continues to set the standard for premium office space for the modern occupier. Stanhope’s decision to relocate to 8 Bishopsgate reflects our belief in the building’s state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge technological infrastructure, and collaborative workspaces. The ever-growing mix of occupiers continues to be a testament to fostering a supportive environment for business development and growth.
The 50-storey building, designed by award-winning architects Wilkinson Eyre, comprises 560,000 sq. ft of offices with 75,000 sq. ft of amenity space, including a 200-seat auditorium, meeting rooms and executive suites on level 50, a café, a business lounge, a communal restaurant bar and communal terrace on level 26. The building also features The Lookout, a public viewing gallery and event space on level 50.
BH2 and Knight Frank have acted as leasing agents for the building.
David Camp, CEO of Stanhope, said:
“We are incredibly proud to be working with Mitsubishi Estate London to deliver 8 Bishopsgate and see no better home for us in what is regarded as one of the very best operationally sustainable buildings in Central London. It has been a long-held ambition of ours to move into one of our own developments and 8 Bishopsgate provides the perfect base for the team to flourish and grow in the years to come.”
Shinichi Kagitomi, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Estate London, said:
“As the pioneer behind some of London’s best workplaces, we have always valued Stanhope as a development partner and now look forward to welcoming them as an occupier at 8 Bishopsgate.”
