Stanhope has submitted plans for a 275,000 sq ft leisure and retail scheme comprising of a six screen digital ODEON cinema, a department store, a food store and a number of national retailers and restaurants. The scheme has been designed by Allies & Morrison and Leslie Jones and has received "strong support" from MADE the Midlands design body.

The submission follows a three day public exhibition of Stanhope's plans, which attracted approximately 3,000 visitors. An impressive 75% of those who filled in the feedback forms provided at the exhibition were supportive of the development plans, with the arrival of a new cinema and what will be Hereford's only department store proving most popular.
